Achilles Professional Services Ltd, APSL was formed six years ago and is an independent company, soley owneed by Proximity Communications plc, specialising in the provision of high quality integrated converged  voice & data solutions. The APSL charter is to deliver a complete selection of support services based on Nortel products and solutions to partners that required these skills to complement their business requirements.

APSL has one of the largest Nortel technical resources in the United Kingdom, with many of our engineers and staff being ex-Nortel.

We have the skill and experience to support both mature Nortel solutions and the very latest technologies. We work with Nortel to Beta test the new technologies that they deliver. In addition all our technical staff are Nortel qualified and we hold the highest Nortel accreditations available and have hundreds of years of Nortel experience within the business, including many of our staff having worked for Nortel.

The main commercial team is based from our headquarters in Thatcham Berkshire but we also have engineers located throughout the United Kingdom, as well as a London office, which has a remote test laboratory and spares that enables a two hour response to fault calls in the City of London.

We have recently moved into new facilities that have provided us with extensive warehousing capabilities to store the large amount of spares to support our partners, and  also there are a  number of pre-staging areas that allow new projects to be built and tested in a lab environment prior to being shipped to the customer.

Our approach to building and supporting Nortel solutions is based around our technical and engineering pedigree. We employ 18 qualified Nortel engineers and 6 consultants who are able to understand a business communication requirement and ensure that our partner’s customers are provided with the best and most effective solutions. We have also invested in a dedicated Project team that is able to project manage or coordinate the simplest or most complex project to ensure a successful working
